The release of SKSK third album was almost unnoticed to me until i seen it in the target. They have moved a long way from the After Dark EP of being a deep dark sound.
Review: New Maps Of Hell
Bad Religion's new record New Maps Of Hell is amazing. The songs have so much energy && the shows to promote the new record where some of the best ive ever been to.
Review: Shorebirds - S/T 7"
With a lineup featuring ex-members of Jawbreaker and Latterman, it would have taken a lot for me not to like this record. Fortunately, that isn't the case.
So if anyone has an explanation for me as to what this whole ordeal means, I'd greatly appreciate some sort of explanation.
Last night I decided to play Lost Planet, downloaded an update needed, got through about 5 minutes of gameplay and the game froze. I tried a few more times, but it kept freezing. So I gave up and took out Lost Planet, put in Rock Band and it froze midway through a song. I tried fixing it, but it just kept on freezing. Finally after a lot of tinkering and clearing the hard drive cache, it gave me 3 red lights. I turned it on a off a few more times and it kept giving the 3 red lights. So I gave up and played some Mario Galaxy.
My one roommate left for the night and the other went to sleep at about 10 pm. I left the house came back and went to sleep. In the morning I woke up, came downstairs, and my 360 was turned on and working. No one had touched it, it just turned itself on.
I just let it play Rock Band for about 30 minutes and it ran through fine.
So is there a ghost in my machine?
Someone made a really good point about currently owning a PS3. The newer models aren't going to be backwards compatible... so I basically missed my chance to have the console that played (almost) all playstation games.
And the 360 bricked again. I'm just going to send it back. I bought Mass Effect for it yesterday (using trade-ins from stuff I got for xmas but never opened or played), and now I'll have to wait a few months. It's okay though because I have Metroid, Mario Galaxy, Trauma Center, Zelda, etc... to play for the Wii.
Too bad my roommate hasn't sent his back in the year it hasn't worked because then we'd have a working one in the house. I told him over and over again to send it back and he never listens to me. I'm sending out for the coffin today.
I think it might be worth it when the following games are all released.
1. the new final fantasy
2. the new ninja gaiden (that isn't just a remake of the same one they made for the xbox 4 years ago)
3. brutal legend
4. little big planet
5. metal gear solid 4
6. gta iv
So that's when I'll get one. When all those games are readily available. (Oh yea, and when I have money)
2, 3 and 6 are gonna be on XBOX 360, and Ninja Gaiden 2 is 360 exclusive. You could argue that it will eventually come out on PS3, but the same could be said about Metal Gear and 360.
I dunno man even now I don't see enough exclusives to justify owning one, even in this upcoming year. Unless you want HD movies, which is the only option after hd-dvd fizzes out.
I want one, just for the fact that...well...I want one. I have no rational explanation for it, I just want it.
I've been holding off because of the HD/Bluray wars, and seeing which one will win out, and it's looking like bluray will be the winner.
So my next big purchase shall be:
32 in. Flat screen
PS3
...and some new games for the 360. heh
I will admit I am a 360 fanboy, probably always will be. But as long as you already got a 360, I don't see a problem in buying PS3, I just couldn't justify that system on it's own (same goes with the Wii)
That being said, I'm going to play Devil May Cry 4 now (woo)
