Anyway is anyone reading the Spiderman One More Day story ?
It just finished up today and I was totally floored by the results.
For those of you not in the know ... the story is like this ... Aunt May gets hit with a bullet intended for Peter and is dying. Mephisto appears and offers a deal... Mays life in exchange for Peter and MJs entire relationship.
Which means they wouldnt be married ... not really like eachother ... hardly know eachother ... its like the last 20 years never happened .
There is a little more to it than that but youd have to read it.
They pulled some ballsy shit here man .... breaking MJ and Pete up ... thats fuckin nuts! I'm cool with it though ... fuck MJ. She was a weakness to spiderman anyway. Now he's free to go bang the Black Cat or whatever he wants . The ending of the books was nuts too ...Pete hangin out with Flash Thompson at some party with Harry Osborn ... and they are meeting all these new chicks ... MJ is there shit is awkward but they don't really know why. Pete shrugs it off and continues to flirt with chicks ...
I dunno man i think i like this new direction .... I used to think MJ was cool but eh it made Spidey kinda stale after a while. I might actually start reading this shit.
They should do the same with The Flash over in DC ... or Superman for that matter ... fuck lois lane!
never read it. i've never liked spidey. it's comics though, so i doubt it'll last once a new writer or two come along on the series.
i'm getting scared with ennis leaving punisher. i doubt this new guy can do shit to frank. who knows... i'll have to read the one shot coming out in a few months, but i'm not expecting much. after all, the new guy has frank fighting a fucking whale.

See this is where I disagree ... cos Joey Q and Strazinski wrote this ...and Joey Q is and has been the Editor and Chief of marvel for years and years ... so i dont think this is going to get undone like everything else ... maybe 20 years down the road when everyone that works at Marvel is retired ... but thats it .
