Review: Scary Kids Scaring Kids - Self Titled

The release of SKSK third album was almost unnoticed to me until i seen it in the target. They have moved a long way from the After Dark EP of being a deep dark sound.

Review: New Maps Of Hell

Bad Religion's new record New Maps Of Hell is amazing. The songs have so much energy && the shows to promote the new record where some of the best ive ever been to.

Review: Shorebirds - S/T 7"

With a lineup featuring ex-members of Jawbreaker and Latterman, it would have taken a lot for me not to like this record. Fortunately, that isn't the case.

I just filed my tax return, so I need to blow some money.

I've never been there, do they have a decent punk/indie vinyl section?

Also, what happened to Brave New World? I was there a week or so ago and it had a new name and they remodeled (thank god you can move in there now!).

on Brave New; Spahr sold his share and they gave it a new name/removed the hip-hop section

I've never been in Attic records actually

We're all fucked up, more or less.

attic records is actually pretty sweet. Little on the expensive side for used records, but i've found billy bragg, clash, dead kennedys and a few other decent things there...one of the Clash albums I found there was even signed by Topper. Colleen has it.

MY CLASH ALBUM SIGNED BY TOPPER IS MY PRIZED POSSESSION. SRSLY.
I love Attic records, actually. All my albums that I didn't buy from bands or receive as gifts are from there. You have to really dig for good stuff, but it's all there.

yeah man the attic is pretty kick ass you have to set aside a bit a time to go there because it sometimes take a bit of searching to find the gems but they are there.

I've been wondering about this place myself...
Is the music selection seperated by genre?

Hows the dvd selection?

It's kind of seperated by genre but not really. If you are into old blues, it's definetely the place to go. Most current (80's until today) stuff is always lumped together and that's why it takes forever to maybe fine 1 album you want.

yeah, but if things are well-sorted and easy to find, that takes like 1/2 the fun out of going shopping for used records.
