The release of SKSK third album was almost unnoticed to me until i seen it in the target. They have moved a long way from the After Dark EP of being a deep dark sound.
Review: New Maps Of Hell
Bad Religion's new record New Maps Of Hell is amazing. The songs have so much energy && the shows to promote the new record where some of the best ive ever been to.
Review: Shorebirds - S/T 7"
With a lineup featuring ex-members of Jawbreaker and Latterman, it would have taken a lot for me not to like this record. Fortunately, that isn't the case.
Last night Urban and I saw Beowful at the IMAX at the Mills mall. The flick was in 3D and it was pretty damn good if you ask me.
I don't know how I would watch that not in 3D. I thought it would be annoying, but it wasn't painful and didn't hurt my eyes (the flick is 2hrs long). The animation, it's all CG, was kind of odd at first, but I could used to it and it works well.
It's PG-13, but they do a pretty good job at keeping the action and what not up.
It's Beowulf, you read it in grade school or high school, but it's pretty cool to see on the big screen.
It was pretty good.
The 3-dness of it was badassness. The last and only 3-d movie that i've ever seen was that one Freddy movie many years ago, ant that was butt.
I actually jumped at one point. After a while you forget that the people are fake, especially beowulfs main sidekick dude, that guy looked real as shit.
And it wasnt until the credits that I realized that crispin glover was grendel...what the fuck?
I was very pleased and it looked really fuckin amazing.
Every movie should be 3-d. The last 3 previews were in 3-d for 3-d movies, a u2 concert, journey to the center of the earth, and some nightmare berfore x-mas type deal.
