The release of SKSK third album was almost unnoticed to me until i seen it in the target. They have moved a long way from the After Dark EP of being a deep dark sound.
Review: New Maps Of Hell
Bad Religion's new record New Maps Of Hell is amazing. The songs have so much energy && the shows to promote the new record where some of the best ive ever been to.
Review: Shorebirds - S/T 7"
With a lineup featuring ex-members of Jawbreaker and Latterman, it would have taken a lot for me not to like this record. Fortunately, that isn't the case.
yeah i liked it. i heard in the very last scene at coney island you can see either 1. a satellite falling into the ocean that mad the thing angry or 2. the ship that cloverfield came to earth on. atleast that's what i read online after i saw it, so i didn't actually see it. but if anyone else sees it, make sure to look for it and confirm/discredit this.
i saw it all the way last night.... top 10 movies ever.
meg there isnt much to study in the movie.... i have been following the viral marketing campaign since it started. check these sites out.
****spoilers****
www.jamieandteddy.com password: jllovesth
tagruato.jp which has been shut down... it was a company created for the marketing who issued a press release about losing a satellite (i believe the sattelite fell in the last seen of cloverfield) which might have awakened the sea beast.
tidowave.com another site that is off, but now has a terrorism code on it.... this company was against tagruato.
and obviously www.1-18-08.com which has a bunch of pictures, click and hold each picture, shake the mouse, and they turn over, some of them have wierd shit on the back. the latest pic looks like the dead monster possibly.
i have theorys
i am a nerd.
They were at the party? I don't remember Jaimie even having a line...
All and all a great movie though, I like how the viral marketing did the whole back story and such.
I hear if a sequel would be made, it would be from a different point of view of the attack. i.e someone else's camera, the army, something of that nature which I think would be pretty rad.
I think if done right, it can be as good.
Just don't go blair witch and make a handheld movie, then try to make an actual "production" movie, ya know?
If the sequel is like, another group of people with a hand held camera, I think it would be good. Follow a totally different story line, and maybe give more detail into the monster.
