The release of SKSK third album was almost unnoticed to me until i seen it in the target. They have moved a long way from the After Dark EP of being a deep dark sound.Review: New Maps Of Hell

Bad Religion's new record New Maps Of Hell is amazing. The songs have so much energy && the shows to promote the new record where some of the best ive ever been to.Review: Shorebirds - S/T 7"

With a lineup featuring ex-members of Jawbreaker and Latterman, it would have taken a lot for me not to like this record. Fortunately, that isn't the case.

This show marks the relaunch of Pittpunk.com. About six months ago, a few of of the administrators of this site got together, and put together a plan to relaunch the site, making it much easier to use, and more professional looking. Around this time, I decided to start promoting shows again, as it's something I've loved doing since I was booking friends to play in my parent's garage. I contacted The Casting Out, as Boysetsfire had just announced their break-up, and I really liked what I heard of this new band. We set the date for July 2nd, and Manny Theiner agreed to let us use Garfield Artworks. On a whim, I asked my friend Will, formerly of Better Off Dead, and currently of Clearviewkills, if he'd attempt to round up the troops, and play a Better off Dead set. He made some phone calls, and we were set. Things were looking like this was going to be a fun, intimate show. I added my new friends, Aaralyn, as well as Turnpike Gates to the show, rounding out an excellent line-up. Fast forward to about a month and a half ago. I ran into Marc and Seth of The Code at 80's Night at Belvedere's. The next day, while getting pizza with some friends, my phone rings, and it's Marc. He asks if The Code can play, despite breaking up a few months prior. Obviously, I agreed! We moved the show to Belvedere's, so that we could provide extra space for people. This is going to be a spectacular show, and I really hope that everyone has a good time!
