The release of SKSK third album was almost unnoticed to me until i seen it in the target. They have moved a long way from the After Dark EP of being a deep dark sound.
Review: New Maps Of Hell
Bad Religion's new record New Maps Of Hell is amazing. The songs have so much energy && the shows to promote the new record where some of the best ive ever been to.
Review: Shorebirds - S/T 7"
With a lineup featuring ex-members of Jawbreaker and Latterman, it would have taken a lot for me not to like this record. Fortunately, that isn't the case.
well at least one of you
Seeking Keyboardist/guitarist for rock/pop/indie/punk....rock music
To make a long story short we need someone to play guitar and keyboards. if you can do both email me. We need someone competent, creative, and confident as a musician, but virtuosity on each instrument isn't an issue. If you can play a few chords and plunk out a melody here and there on the keyboard that might be all we need.
Seeking Multi-instrumentalist/Keyboardist for rock/indie rock/pop
We're looking for musician to play at least keyboard and preferably guitar as well as whatever you can bring to the table... Violin, mandolin, cello, accordian, mouth harp, banjo, Triangle, trombone, hand bells, ha whatever
It's a driving indie rock with a weird pop quirkiness, but I guess we've got 90's rock roots. It would lean more towards something punk than coldplay. It's good though. If you email me I've got demos for you to check out. It's hard to explain that stuff, if you give it a listen you'll get a better idea, obviously
We want a competent, creative, confident--the three C's I guess ha. I didn't do that on purpose--Keyboard player who can also play guitar competently live. We want piano, and some(tasteful) organ/synth sounds, but not every song calls for it. We don't want to force it into every song by virtue of having a keyboard player, so switching off to guitar would be ideal. If you can sing some harmony as well, that'd be awesome.
We'd be ready to play out very soon, and we already have a dozen songs or so to do, once we learn them as a whole. Ideally, you have your own keys, but guitar gear isn't an issue. We have a keyboard, but it's not the best. Email me with some info about yourself, like your location, age, schedule, gear, influences i guess... whatever stuff you think is applicable.
Email me at Stephen@contrawise.com and include "keyboard" in the subject line so I don't miss it
