I hate when people try to look so hardcore on stage when they play keyboard on the stage. Hey rotshit, get a keybaord player and have him trash around for no reason, even MORE people would hate you, it would be awesome.

The "hot" chick from bleeding through popped in my mind when i was reading this, and i think it depends how you rock out, whether it is annoying or not.

you can play any instrument without thrashing around but it isn't as fun. our keyboard player slams his keyboard down constantly and dances the whole time he plays. I think he has it better than i do with my bass, because he can step back and go crazy completely untethered.
