The release of SKSK third album was almost unnoticed to me until i seen it in the target. They have moved a long way from the After Dark EP of being a deep dark sound.
Review: New Maps Of Hell
Bad Religion's new record New Maps Of Hell is amazing. The songs have so much energy && the shows to promote the new record where some of the best ive ever been to.
Review: Shorebirds - S/T 7"
With a lineup featuring ex-members of Jawbreaker and Latterman, it would have taken a lot for me not to like this record. Fortunately, that isn't the case.
there's a new song from our upcoming 7 inch on MySpace called Power Pop. Listen at www.myspace.com/rotshit
sounds like a bunch of retarded children got a grant for the UN.
you fuckin suck, for real. do you realize how many times what you are doing has been done you lazy fucking piece of shit. ZERO originality. ZERO talent. People like you should be beaten in the street for shit like this. you drag the whole medium into the gutter copin a sound made by others. faggots.
Vin, I really hope you guys only like this song in a "I can't believe we actually got people to listen to this" sort of a way, cause this is total garbage. If you're getting paid for this, I'm tempted to walk over to my next door neighbor's studio and pump out 10 tracks that sound exactly like this in the next hour.
I don't really know any of you people, so you'll have to excuse me if I'm not taking pre-existing bad blood in to consideration, but good christ, that song is not good. Aaron's comment is spot on. However, I can't really agree that Rot Shit deserves to be beaten to death over it. If a bunch of stupid, tone-deaf punk kids want to give their money to a bunch of silly bastards fucking around on guitars and yelling trite nonsense about nothing, more power to them.
Love,
P. Murder
Rot Shit was formed as an excuse to do drugs and be degenerates.
We are all in other bands that are completely different.
But we're all degenerates at heart and needed a band to cater to our complete idiot sides.
We recorded the first 7" as a joke.
It sat on an 8 track for months.
Finally got bored and mixed and mastered it.
2 labels wanted to release the stuff.
Nobody understood why.
So we gave it to Big Neck Records and it got good reviews all over the world.
It was hilarious to us.
Almost 2 years later, Jaimee is MIA, John Boy can't play bass, Steve is in the Burndowns, I am in The Test Patterns and Vinnie is wasted.
Another label asks us for a record.
We write the songs in 1 hour.
Record em 2 days later.
Record comes out in January and we're doin a u.s. tour.
a 6 minute set every night. ha.
It's all just fun and a reason to get fucked up and be a shitbag.
Still blows our mind the shit that's been given to us for doing absolutely nothing.
Are we lucky? just know the right people? who gives a fuck?
It's fucking Rot Shit.
Stop reading into it so much.
fuck.
Its not about professional this or that, its about making music that has at least a shred of honesty. You are as bad as green day or the radio beats. You have to wait another few years till yer gimmick comes back into to view dorks...then people will pretend they like you again and you can glean yer false sense of self worth again.
you would suck twenty cocks to get anywhere. whores.

my new band hasn't recorded anything because we have yet to practice with our drummer. But we got 5 hot originals and 2 Neil Young covers. Sounds like Punk Creedence or Hillbilly Ramones.
It really sucks ass...it is so bad that i'd never put that into anything that I have that plays music. My fear is that it would infect my speakers and ruin all music yet to be heard.
...but I get it, and would see a live show if the time was perfect. I get the whole thing, it makes sense to me.
Keep on truckin'

everybody in that band is a peice of shit faggot. you should be careful or you might get infected with peice of shit faggotness. ya know? i am just sayin this cause i like you.
I don't have any actual problem with it, seeing as it's pretty hilarious that they've received attention for it, and I actually like everyone that I know in the band in person.
What I can't tell though, is whether Vinnie *actually* thinks it's good, or whether he's just fucking with people. Either way, it's fun to fuck with him since he's such an arrogant prick on the internet.
Yes Scott, I think our new record is one of the best hardcore EPs since the first Formaldehyde Junkies single. Back to basics hardcore about being a shithead and hating people/trends. But according to Aaron who is so informed on punk these days, we're just a trend, so you know.
