The release of SKSK third album was almost unnoticed to me until i seen it in the target. They have moved a long way from the After Dark EP of being a deep dark sound.
Review: New Maps Of Hell
Bad Religion's new record New Maps Of Hell is amazing. The songs have so much energy && the shows to promote the new record where some of the best ive ever been to.
Review: Shorebirds - S/T 7"
With a lineup featuring ex-members of Jawbreaker and Latterman, it would have taken a lot for me not to like this record. Fortunately, that isn't the case.
This weekend was really fun.
On Friday, we ended up at Valerie & Dustin's apartment, playing video games, eating nachos, and watching funny shit. It was fun. I miss those two a lot.
Saturday, after work, I came home and recorded my first podcast. The technicals of it were much easier than expected. I think I sounded like a total dork, but fuck it. I'll do this every week. Hopefully some other people jump in and record their own. My goal is to get good.
After that, I went, picked up Anna Marie from work, and then we went out for Brazilian with her parents. Meat on swords is pretty awesome. Anna Marie's dad bought us both nice watches. I don't generally wear them, however, this one is very comfortable.
We came home, and Tim & Kate came over to give us the Aaralyn half of the upcoming split. Both bands on the split sound fucking phenomenal. I can't wait to get this out.
This week:
- Work till Saturday, my last day.
- Party this weekend at our place.
- Show on Sunday.
