Review: Scary Kids Scaring Kids - Self Titled

The release of SKSK third album was almost unnoticed to me until i seen it in the target. They have moved a long way from the After Dark EP of being a deep dark sound.

Review: New Maps Of Hell

Bad Religion's new record New Maps Of Hell is amazing. The songs have so much energy && the shows to promote the new record where some of the best ive ever been to.

Review: Shorebirds - S/T 7"

With a lineup featuring ex-members of Jawbreaker and Latterman, it would have taken a lot for me not to like this record. Fortunately, that isn't the case.

tj, I was in wheeling the other day.

and I realized that wellsburg is a bigger version of follansbee, and wheeling is a slightly bigger version of wellsburgh.

my point?

Wheeling sucks.

When I lived in Pgh I was about 10 miles from my job. I drove from Carnegie to Oakland on the Parkway. It took me about 45 minutes.

I live in DC now. I work about 30 miles from where I live. I commute on the Capitol Beltway every day. My commute is 45-55 minutes.

I dont get it at all! Theres like 1/4 of the number of people in pittsburgh, the distance was shorter, and it didnt involve the fucking beltway (which by the way is not nearly as bad as crybabies make it out to be) yet it took just as long.

T.V. party tonight!
T.V. party tonight!
T.V. party tonight!
T.V. party tonight!

We're gonna have a T.V. party tonight!

Alright!

We're gonna have a T.V. party alright!

Tonight!

We've got nothing better to do
Than watch T.V. and have a couple of brews

All our friends are gonna hang out here tonight

Alright!

We're gonna pass out on the couch alright

Tonight!

We've got nothing better to do
Than watch T.V. and have a couple of brews

Don't talk about anything else
We don't wanna know!
We're dedicated
To our favorite shows!

We sit glued to the T.V. set all night
And every night!
Why go into the outside world at all?
It's such a fright!

We've got nothing better to do
Than watch T.V. and have a couple of brews

T.V. news shows what it's really like out there
It's a scare!

You can go out if you want
We wouldn't dare!

We've got nothing better to do
Than watch T.V. and have a couple of brews

Don't talk about anything else
We don't wanna know!
We're dedicated
To our favorite shows!

I wouldn't be without my T.V. for a day
Or even a minute!

Don't even bother to use my brain anymore
There's nothing left in it!

We've got nothing better to do
Than watch T.V. and have a couple of brews

Wait a minute! My T.V. set doesn't work!
It's broken!
What are we gonna do tonight? This isn't fair!
We're hurtin'

We've got nothing left to do
With no T.V. and just a couple of brews

What are we gonna talk about?
I don't know!
We're gonna miss our favorite shows!
NO T.V. PARTY TONIGHT!

I love that the beltway is busy as fuck but people still go like 70 mph there. I also remember, prior to me ever driving on the beltway, you being one of the people telling me that it's the most hellish road ever paved and to avoid it at all cost.

I was talking to my cousin about it and he was saying they just started all sorts of aggressive driver crap, so now there are cops everywhere and everyone drives more carefully.

The beltway is not nearly as hellish as I remember it being. Perhaps this is because before I get onto it I spend a good 10 miles on 270 which just blows.

People in Maryland can not fucking drive for shit though. I think maybe the cops made them all slow down, so its not as bad, but goddamn are these people awful drivers!

There's a slight drizzle - lets go 45
Theres a car pulled over and in no way physically impeding on the traffic pattern - lets go 35 and rubberneck.

I hate how everyone slows down on the highway because there is a tunnel. Oh no! Slam on the brakes there is a tunnel monster inside.

After dealing with the traffic in South Florida, I'll take Pittsburgh tunnel back-ups any day. My commute to work was 45 minutes if I made it to the northern terminal of the Sawgrass by 6:15 am. I would be about 20-30 minutes early to work. However, if I didn't make it to that exit by that time, I was guaranteed to be at least an hour late. It was fucking insane. Also, there is no option of a reverse commute like you have here. It didn't matter where you lived or worked, it was shitty everywhere.
