With a lineup featuring ex-members of Jawbreaker and Latterman, it would have taken a lot for me not to like this record. Fortunately, that isn't the case.
This is the first 7" I've put forth the effort to order via mailorder since my late teens, and I can't say that it wasn't worth the effort. The packaging can best be described as punk, with a hand drawn/photocopied cover, xeroxed lyrics sheet, and song titles written in pen on the yellow vinyl. The flash of this record isn't what's on the outside... it's what's on the grooves that your needle picks up that will blow you away.
This release pretty much picks up exactly where Latterman left off, with gruff, Punknews.org friendly pop-punk. Each track, would have fit perfectly on either "No Matter Where We Go" or "Turn up the Punk...". Or could have provided four solid tracks for the disappointing "We are still Alive".
