With a lineup featuring ex-members of Jawbreaker and Latterman, it would have taken a lot for me not to like this record. Fortunately, that isn't the case.

I see that Racer X and Rex Racer are played by 2 different people though .... that Rex Racer shit better be back in the past ...like a flash back cos if they are tryin to say Racer X is not Rex Racer this move needs stopped .
Yeah ... i just watched that speed racer trailer ..even paused someone the fast shit and went frame by frame ... if you think this looks like shit ... you have never seen the fucking cartoon . If you've never watched the cartoon ... you aren't allowed to have an opinion of this.
They fuckin NAILED just about everything ... even the old school machine guns and shit. The jump sound gave me chills!

yeah, they're staying very true to the cartoon, which is cool... but that doesn't mean this will be a good movie. the cartoon was entertaining, but in a cheesy, bad way. i mean, i liked watching it and all, but never did i think "man this would make a cool movie." i was discussing this with someone earlier, and i reached the conclusion that this would be a lot like turning the first season of I Love New York into a romantic comedy to be released in 2025
