BIKING?
safe, long, flat route: take penn ave towards wilkinsburg. at pennwood (right past mcdonalds and before the bridge) make a right. follow pennwood along the train tracks. keep following until first underpass you can go under. make a left there (under the bridge) and follow up a little hill, then a quick right. follow past corner store (now your on swissvale ave) continue with busway on the right. this takes you to braddock ave, right near a gas station, cogo's, and arby's. at the light stay straight to merge onto braddock ave. follow down the hill and take the braddock right hand exit. right before the rankin bridge, make a left off the ramp onto braddock ave. stay on braddock ave and start passing numbered streets. right after you see 8th street (on left) library street will be next. make a left on library street. the elks lodge is on your right with columns and a big porch with steps, next to a huge church.
